The individual selected will manage a team and strategic services for a
wide breadth of responsibilities, which have significant financial
impact to the business.
Responsibilities include selection, design and management of internal or
vendor solution/service: process, environment, and budget, while
providing strategic vision and innovative solutions that move the
business forward.
Display industry leading technical/business knowledge for solutions
critical to the organizations success. Design and implement
architectural solutions and process to facilitate new and innovative
business practices.
Develop strategic vision for the team with regards to platform
enhancements. Drive system capabilities to levels consistent with
business objectives and industry leaders.
Manage external vendor relationship to optimize value of those
services. Provide direction to maximize value of service through
enhancements and servicing solutions.
Optimize significant personnel and processing budget for most efficient
use.
Manage multiple teams of technical professionals. Drive
organizational structure and role definition to meet business needs.
Ensures thorough staff understanding and implementation of operations,
policies, and procedures.
Direct selection of 3rd party service providers and manage partnership.
Experience Required:
4-year college degree in a quantitative / technical discipline
required. MBA or other graduate degree is a plus.
8+ Retail Bank and Credit Card experience strongly preferred, but not
required.
3+ years team management experience required.
Strong communication skills & ability to work independently and
manage a team.
Must be able to influence inter-dependent departments across the
organization.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in
complex situations. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes
recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
Exceptional technical skills associated with specific software/processes
utilized to manage credit strategies and compliance policies. Computer
literacy /proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Oracle,
Unix,
and MS Office.
Proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful
information. Strong communication skills & ability to work
independently and manage a team
Retail Bank and Credit Card experience strongly preferred, but not
required. Proven record in problem solving and business innovation.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
